She Lives – Matt Witt

Description

This image is inspired by the energy of Avalon, it depicts Glastonbury Tor. In this image I am attempting to merge the landscape with body and mind, merging an external figurative landscape with aspects of abstract internal visions and visualised feelings evoked by living in Avalon and walking this mystical land of Avalon.

This image is created with the intention of merging the feminine and masculine energies. An androgynous image, if that makes sense, one that sits right between the masculine and feminine and attempts to resolve my own longing for connection with the feminine and for humanity as a whole to honour and respect their opposites.
